Custom comic on commission by Elena, wedding planner
ELENA AND PAOLO
Elena, a renowned Milanese wedding planner, contacts me because she has seen the site and was struck by the original idea that she could propose to her customers: a personalized cartoon about the wedding, but also the love story of the couple, as a wedding gift to the spouses, or girlfriend. Finally, an original gift idea to celebrate the anniversary ... First, however, Elena wants to "try" the product and commissions us her love story with Paolo.
Let's define a date, that of their engagement anniversary and a message: Elena would like Paolo to ask her to marry him and then she would like to give him a more or less explicit suggestion.
We begin to work together on the story: Elena sends us a word file with the story of her events with Paolo. We refine the script, decide together some steps. Once the screenplay has been approved and the photos selected, Elena decides to opt for a personalized mixed media comic: comics + photos. In a couple of weeks the pencils are gone. We proceed to inking (all strictly by hand) and then to color.
We exchange some messages with Elena via whatsapp, the simplest and most effective way to send photos, better define some texts, check ... Elena is very curious and excited at the idea that in a few days her personalized comic will be ready and not. he is looking forward to giving it to Paolo, to see his reaction.
We meet in a place in Milan, for an aperitif (we are in the area) and we deliver the personalized comic, personally. The emotion is great, as is Elena's satisfaction. who is visibly impressed by the result: a beautiful 20x20 size hardcover bound and printed on high quality Fujifilm matte photo paper.
