This story impressed us very much. It is the story of Flavia, an employee of a cooperative that operates in the province of Vicenza and is responsible for welcoming and supporting migrant women who arrive in Italy due to wars, poverty, persecutions and violence. Nicola, Flavia's companion contacted us to commission a comic that would tell the story of Flavia and Lovette, a Nigerian girl who came from Libya with the boats. Flavia assisted Lovette with the love and care that mothers dedicate to their children. He followed her throughout her pregnancy, provided her with psychological and moral support, helped her in the long process of obtaining the status of political refugee ... until she was reunited with her husband after the baby was born.
Thanks to Flavia, Lovette was able to start all over again, in a country that welcomed her with the love of those who, like Flavia and her colleagues, work every day to give migrants a future, to foster their integration and them the possibility of a dignified life. What about Nicola? Only a man of great sensitivity could give such a great gift to the woman he loves.
