LINDA AND MICHELE: LOVE, DRUGS AND TRAVEL
Linda is a career woman, very busy in her work (medical profession) which she carries out with passion and self-denial. Time for himself is always little and precious and he shares it with his love, Michele. Both are constantly on the move for work commitments and barely manage to carve out moments of tranquility. However, a very strong feeling has blossomed between them that binds them intimately despite the great distances that often separate them.
Working with Linda was complicated because, we understand, her busy life does not allow her to devote a lot of time to "futile" things. So we had to "buffer" her continuously, looking for the simplest and least "time-consuming" solutions for her. It must be said that Linda let herself be guided at a certain point and trusted us to such an extent that she gave us carte blanche on the story. And here the great professionalism of our collaborators came into play. Kenji, the screenwriter, worked on 3 distinct documents that Linda sent us to tell us her story with Michele. He had to make a crasis distilling everything into a 16-panel script, which contained uncompromisingly some key moments (imposed by Linda !!). He managed to do an extraordinary job to say the least, extricating himself between dates, photos, redundancies! Once the script was ready we entrusted the realization to Marco, from the Chiavari school of comics. Its incredible ease of realization, combined with its pleasant style, made it possible to create a truly unique comic.
