Comic book on commission in record time! A real challenge: 13 days to make a story, print it and deliver it to Valeria. I still don't understand how we did it and, in fact, in the end we missed some pieces (which we will recover) ... but let's go in order! Valeria contacts us at the end of November because she wants to make a realistic comic book story, but ... she has no idea where to start. The only thing he can give us is a description of Alessandro's profile, his boyfriend: who he is, what he does, what he likes, his friends, travels, passions, etc. In short, a fairly rambling set of information. Luckily we have some fantastic writers to feed this "primordial soup" to! This is the turn of Axel, from Bergamo, a very young talent from the prestigious school of comics in Milan. Axel, pack in a single night, a really very funny and tasty story in which Alessandro, the protagonist, goes to Las Vegas with friends (and here ends the similarities with the famous film that also gives the title to this article), and wins an embarrassing award to say the least! We will not reveal anything else, except that in this story we find all the best pieces of Alessandro's life: from Basket Cantù, to water pistols, to Daft Punk. Difficult, isn't it, to imagine how all these things can fit into a 16-panel story? And instead, thanks to the talent of Axel, the screenwriter, but above all to the terrifying skill of Davide, the designer, this story will enter the annals of short comics for its originality, rhythm, unbridled humor! What about Davide, the designer? Artwork crafted with crystal-clear flair, amazing stroke, supersonic speed, universal quality ... a gem of graphics!

Thanks guys you did an amazing job. The only bullshit I did it myself, Luca, coordinator of this project. I had the ambition to manage a thousand projects in this crazy period before Christmas and the spirits of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" almost appeared to me, so much is the level of work frenzy. So at the time of going to press, as we always do, I asked Valeria to check that there were no typos in the text. Valeria, precise as a proofreader, has identified two errors. I corrected them and went to print, quietly and share the document with Valeria again, as is always the case. Valeria candidly points out to me that the mistakes have remained! I despair, but there is nothing to be done. We must reprint (at our expense of course). With the shadow of the ghost of future Christmas hanging over me and the light on my desk burning at 1.30am, I correct the cursed typos and forward the second print order. I forward the corrected document to Valeria and collapse exhausted. The following morning, a message on whatsapp warns me that the document still contains 1 error! NOOOOOOOO !!!! Unfortunately there is no time to go back to print, there would be no technical time to get the gift to Valeria on time, even if you want to activate a quick print. We will send the file back to print after the holidays, when all the spirits of Christmas have dissolved !!
